It seems like yesterday that we left California to spend the summer with my family in UpState NY. Tomorrow will be September 1st and a few days later, Alain and i will be off on our adventure!
Our first stop will be Hanoi, Vietnam. We have never been to this part of SE Asia before, and it is exciting to think of how many new things we will see and do.
My challenge will be to NOT SHOP. Hanoi is supposed to be a shoppers paradise, but we are committed to traveling light! I am sure i will not be able to resist totally, but i will try my best.
Between now and then, we have friends to see and say good bye to and we want to soak up as much family as possible.
Travel is always bittersweet--you can't go without leaving some things behind.
