In this photo, you can see the white string that the Monks use, to distribute to everyone present, to hold while in prayer. This string is later reused to make the purification bracelets.
The Monks passed thru our apartment building, shaking a wad of small sticks, soaked in Holy Water, blessing everywhere.
We were happy to have the company of Marta and Andre at the ceremony. Our neighbors and new friends!
As part of the ceremony, one of the Monks offered to bless and purify our home.
We now live in a happy home :)
